Never heard of this, I prefer the "manual" method:

Garage List
Proper use of a manual transmission is becoming a lost art as cars that offer manual transmissions become more rare. A shame really, so much fun. In a race car sure, but for the street, no thanks. I want as much driver participation as possible.

If I had auto rev-match, I would figure out how to disable it.
IMHO, auto rev match is for posers who want to look cool driving a manual but don't want to put the work in to learn how to do it themselves.

Drive a 370z then come back with an opinion.

I watch that vid of the guy bombing The Ring and can't help but notice how many times he almost eats shit because he has too much going on. If a driver aid can let more concentration on the road ahead, it's worth it.

You can debate better driver all you want. All that matters is time.

If all that matters is time, you'd be dumb to get anything but a DCT.

And I have driven a 370Z. I cross-shopped it with the 135 and the 135 won. Didn't like the rev matching (or the mail slot rear window - worst rear visibility I have ever seen in a car).
I've been driving manuals since I took my drivers' license test in one 27 years ago. Shifting manually isn't a nuisance - it's just driving. Even in heavy stop-and-go traffic like I encounter on my daily commute outside of Boston (bad traffic).
