All dealers will be happy to fit. (or should be)

Exactly. I have exactly this car, just without the Perfomance parts. I can't get the exhaust on my diesel because 'it is only for gasoline powered cars'...
Looks solid though. Now I know what next round of mods should consist of!

It is a neat car, love those wheels. But $82,000? (the Swiss franc and US dollar are quite similar). If that car was sold here, it would cost at most, $50,000. And at the or ice, there probably wouldn't be very many sold. That said, If I could buy the performance seats and upholstery, I definitely would.

Seems to be the quintessential example of all show and no go. A golf gti or r would run circles around this car for a lot less. Old model. No xenons. Who is this car for?

But now that we are in Europe, US prices don't apply. The performance equipment makes the car very expensive, but in base trim the prices don't compare. 118d and 120d are some of the most popular cars in their respective segment across Europe due to their build quality, km/l and design. They are somewhat expensive, agree. But Switzerland was never a land known for their cheap cars. My car, 118d hatch, cost more used with few extras than US consumers pay for a factory new 1M.

Again, prices don't apply to you. The price for a 120d is less than a 128i and is more directly compared with 120i (if that's the US model code).

Golf gti has 200hp and whatever torque - a 120d with performance powerkit has 197hp and 390Nm. I seriously doubt you have experience to back this up....
Old model? Since the new model isn't here yet, it is in fact the current model. And since xenons are an option, it is kind of ok they are not on the car. It would have been nice if the car was fully loaded, but have you considered the notion that this car could be private owned and showcased by BMW?
There's a lot of cars in Europe with performance parts, but few with everything! Here's for one, a 135i with everything in performance in the most expensive country for cars in the world.

Realistic comments guys, come on!

that power kit is a lot of money for not much extra poke...... my 120D is running about 220bhp for half the price but the petrol gearing does make a difference in favour of the gti

In a lot of ways, the 1 series is turning into the "honda civic" of BMWs. Its not BMWs fault, but this is another topic for another day lol

I think they took xenos and navi out as the car being like a light race replica. Like M3 CSL with no navi or MFL steering wheel etc.
