235 / 265 on stock wheels?

Can a 235/40 and 265/35 size be run on a 2011 135i sport with stock wheels and eibach pro system drop?

Thanks, need to order new tires soon, mine are roasted!

Need wider wheels.

Maybe fender roll or camber change also?

Thanks guys.

Did some research last night, didn't realize the stock wheels were a ridiculous 7.5/8.5 width.

I'll be ordering 225/255 star specs ASAP.

It does fit, if you look in my album there are a lot of pics of my stock 261 filled with 235/265 combo. Trust me it does work and no rub. H&R ssp very slam too so eibach will be just fine.
To everyoqne else it does not rub with that combo and very meatty look. I would do it again and again if I ever go back to stock wheels
235/40/18&265/35/18 bridgestone RE760 sport

If yall are sure you can fit t235/265 on 7.5/8.5 wheels, I'll order star specs tonight.

I'm just concerned a little bc it's on size outside tireracks recommended range for that wheel width.

are tires this wide suitable for daily? Any significant decrease to MPG over stock?

Gentlemen, a body has a stock 135i with these wheels and wants the widest possible tires without screwing up the diameter too much in the rear or rubbing during autocross. His car is bone stock and set to max negative camber. It sounds like this is the setup. Anyone run these sizes bone stock? Any thoughts or recommendations? He wants to go with a tire like the Star Spec or Yoko AD08 that will last some a bit but still work at autocross.

Thank you.

How is the turn-in with this setup? Does oversizing the tire that much end up adding any mushiness?

sidewall height is a percentage of the tire width. When you have narrower tires up front, you have to choose a higher percentage sidewall height to keep the tires the same or similar overall diameter.

So 235/40 = 94mm sidewall height
and 265/35 = 92.75mm

If you went 265/40 in back, it would be 12mm taller than the front.
