Got my car dyno'd last weekend
Put down 375whp@5500 450ftlbs@3300. I did the pulls in map3, but my meth wasnt working. I peaked at 14.8lbs of boost, and it was like 90 degrees outside. 98ron gas from on base.
I gotta figure out my meth issue, i really want 400 at the wheels. I was pretty surprised by the torque though, it was higher than i expected, and peaked really low. It stays above 400ft lbs from 2500-5100 rpm. I love the torque curve on these things! On map 4 i put down ~315whp as a base line. Not sure how accurate that is for FBO on stock maps. Any input? |

I have ww fluid in the tank now, but if i ever get it working i will try a stronger solution. If i ground the solenoid to the frame, it sprays strong, got all the bubbles out, etc... but i think i have something wired wrong with the FSB, or the FSB is bad, because that's what completes the solenoid ground. Ill recheck everything this weekend. even the WOT @ 7/5 command mode isnt working for me, im really not sure what i did wrong. |

if you use actual meth not ww fluid, i think its recommended that you dont go over a 30/70 meth water mix cause a couple peoples cars caught on fire due to the heat from the engine and turbos heating the ww tank too much. I would suggest getting a separate tank to put in the trunk like I have, you can still use the pump you have now, get a roll of tube, and you can still use the FSB. total cost would be around $120-$150 and you can run a stronger meth mix like 70/30 and use meth instead of ww fluid. Shoot Elsabor a message and see what his thoughts were when he switched from using HEET (a type of ww fluid) to using M1 race meth.

I saw the pics on the car show's FB page. Those blue wheels are a dead giveaway.

that dyno SUCKS, you are probably at 400whp. email speed-concept.de about dynoing there, they have a DYNOJET which is one of the better dynos and you can pay the guy in U.S. dollars cause he goes to the states on vacation.

I think they use a super flow dyno. When they were on Spang a 2010 M5 dynoed at only 350 to the wheels. Based on several runs most evrybody believed the dyno was reading about 20% low. The guys that are setting it up and running it really don't seem to have enough experience. I heard they only use it 1 or 2 times a year. I watched them take 30+ min and three tries to strap down a neon.

I dyno'd at 286 hp and 275 tq when I was bone stock. This was on a dynojet and seemed to inline other stock N55s.
