Two tone floor mats and cup holder

Hello! I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get the two tone floor mats (taupe with black heel pad inserts) shown in the 1-series 2008 accessory catalog (my dealership is on top of things!) and would they fit a 2011? Also, has anyone put the retrofit cup holder that comes with the 1-series with Nav in their non-Nav vehicle, and did a dealer install it? The dealer I bought my car from didn't have a clue when I told them I wanted it installed into my non-Nav car. Thanks for your help!

My taupe with black at the heel area mats came from a BMW dealer that sells over the internet. I think it was Tischer. They are not great mats, I would call them OK mats. Other than the heel area they are pretty thin.

I put in the iDrive cup holder using parts from Tischer. You can get the part numbers from RealOEM. There is a DIY in that section. The hardest part is probably removing the console from the car. Pulling the gearshift knob off was surprisingly challenging. Any dealer could do this but I don't know if they will. After the console is out, you have to cut a hole and then screw the mount pieces together. Then the console goes back in and you have the cupholder. The parts were not what I call cheap but it is my favorite cup holder. The DIY walks you through it well. The main task is getting the console out.

Interested in the cup holder as well. I think the Germans put that 2nd cup holder under the arm rest just to tweak the noses of us ugly americans.

Thanks JimD! Not sure I want to attempt the cup holder on my own. May have my local dealer do it.

And I agree with you Dam Road! That 2nd cupholder (actually my change holder!) is annoying! Definitely going to do the iDrive cupholder. Thanks for the info!!

The cup holder under the arm rest will hold a half pint bottle of water. Not very useful but a half pint if you are really thirsty is handy.

Once you get the part number, ANY bmw dealership will be able to order it for you. If they SAY they can't, forget them, because they don't care about your business enough to go out of their way and make a phone call. Though the prices that UnitedBMW and Tischer (getbmwparts.com) sell for tend to be the best since they ship out everywhere and are pretty popular.

I'm interested in the part number for the cup holder as well.. can only find part numbers for the ridiculous accessories like the..

"Cool bag" PN 82299415579

and the "universal coat hanger" PN 51160009546

You have to look at the center console page of RealOEM, not the accessories page:

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...40&hg=51&fg=35

You want parts 20-23 but notice you have to get the right color for part 20 and the description seems to be in German.

You want floor mats? Check out the selection in the BMW accessories catalogs in Japan - click on any of the 1-series catalogs here:
http://www.bmw.co.jp/jp/ja/owners/ac...lications.html
- The first one is the 5-door
- The second one is the 3-door coupe
- The third one is the convertible
