^^^Yea... Nick that was pretty funny this lady in the wedding dress on the "return" beer krug/mug wagon! lol

As for PussyWagon's hood... GFK = CF = Carbon Fiber. The shape of the hood looked really cool, but the fit was a little lacking around the front leading edge. Esp around the grills - the gap was kind of big. I wish someone would come out with a metal version of this M3-like hood. Our cars could use some extra cooling vents.

I couldn't agree more. Can't seem to find a quality M3 style hood for the 1. Vorsteiner reps say they will release a hood in the near future. One can only hope it's worth the wait...

Greeting johannes

Hi Johannes - the show was really nice. We had a great time.

Here are my thoughts:

1). Hand out a written address for the "Ausfahrt meeting point" complete with zip code (postleitzahl) - because some of us had a hard time trying to find the EADS village in our NAVI's. Luckly we followed Herr iCarbon in his Sedona Red 135i.

2). Hold the show a little bit longer. Maybe an hour or two. It would have been nice to tour the Museum while we were there. Or better yet have a special tour of the Museum for us 1addicts/1er Forum guys.

3). Some car trophies for each class of car? Maybe something small but nice?

4). Make it a two day event... because many people drove from far away for the car show. Marco's tour of the Mobile Tradition was GREAT! Perhaps we could tour something special next year? FIZ ? Werk Zero?

hey dackel,

thanks for your ideas

to point 1. thats true.... and i just forget it and when im organize the 1er meet again then the flyer is with the addys!

to 2. this is not so easy because there are so many people who wants a non 4 hours "standing meet" at the Welt

and to point 4 its okay but then when we do it with an tour throug, what ever, then we must do it on an other day, because its the same problem like point 2.... there are too many people who dont want to pay for something like this!

Point 3. sounds nice... i think we could add the flyer a review site, where all participants(?!) choose their favorites and then at the end we crowned the most beautiful! : D

ADD to point 4. for a 2 day event, its to much to organize for me alone

I think the Main Problem, if there is a WELT3.0 (which i hope ) is the Room at the WELT... Its getting bigger and bigger and they cut the space at the Parking Lot

The other thing that Johannes said is true... the Problem is 40-50% of the Crowd did the Museum or Werks Tour , you cant tell them "So, we are now 3 Hours at the Museum, you can stay on the Parking Lot!"

This year went great i think... Friday the Mobile Tradition, Saturday WELT2.0

A couple of lousy videos I shot...

Driving to the meeting point outside Munich. That white UFO thing (on the left) is the Alianz Arena.

Rikx135 blue car shooting past me... Rick had a camera mounted on his car...

Ohhh Btw Johannes - I thought of something cool. Inside the Welt BMW has a small Kino room. Maybe for next year they could show us something special. I believe it was at this Kino where BMW tested their can you see BMW subliminal message short film.
