AC just stopped working : 2008 135i
Hello guys as the title says my ac just stopped working. All the lights and buttons seem to press but no air comes out. I looked it up and someone said it was just the ac blower that needed to be replaced, anyone else have this issue? Also where would I go to get an ac blower?
Thanks a lot, If anyone else has an idea of what it could be I would greatly appreciate it, i purchased this car about 4 days ago with 66k miles on it and it seems weird to me ( with no indicator codes thrown) that it would just stop working. |

My A/C also stopped working today. However, no cold air just blows hot air?

Hi, you may have a leak somewhere. I had the same exact thing with mine. One day it had cold air, the next, nothing. Buttons pressed, lights worked, but it just blew outside temperature air in.
Turns out I had a high pressure hose leak. Eventually over time all the freon leaked out and that is when it stopped (or maybe the hole had just formed and it leaked out all at once). On the passenger side, towards the front of the engine compartment, there was another hose right up against it and the friction eventually put a hole in it. Check to see if there are two aluminum hoses that are right up against each other, one might have worn a hole in the other. Anyways, to get it fixed all I had to do was buy a new hose (~$85), install it, and recharge (which I had a shop do) The hose I needed to replace was 64509129060 |

No I'd leave it. Don't fix what's not broken!
