Tire fitment question
Hello Guys,
I have Alufelgen CS7 wheels on my 2009 BMW 135i and these are the sizes and offsets 18 x 8.0" ET +45 18 x 9.0" ET +48 Currently I'm running 225/40 and 255/35 tire sizes in front and rear respectively. Car has KW v2 with 1 inch drop and M3 LCA. There is no rubbing currently. My question is will 235/40 and 265/35 fit these wheels without any issues? i.e without spacers or fender rolling or rubbing? Please let me know. Thanks

You should be able to tell/measure better than we can guess. Just think about adding 5mm of tire to each side (assuming you use the same brand of tire). I'd think it would be fine with small running tires, anything as wide as a Michelin PSS might rub the strut in the front and the outer fender liner in the rear.

I am running 265 with +58 offset in the rear, and had to add camber to get it to stop rubbing the fender. Would be tough to fit pushing that out another full cm.

Better than the rear, but still needed to be rolled flat. I also cut out the corners on the bumper and fender tabs for more clearance. That being said, I'm probably about 1" lower than stock on TCK/Swift coils.
I still rub in the rear right occasionally with a heavy trunk load if it's a big dip in the road. Looking into fixing that permanently. Ultimately unless you're prepared to work on creating more space for the tire to slot into, stick with the 225/255.
