I seriously suck at golf*, but I still go out a half dozen times a year so I hope I can get my clubs in the trunk of the 135i.
Dan * I've been out probably 15-20 times over the last 3 years and have still yet to break 100 |

You should show with your golf bag at the dealership and ask for a test drive.

Yeah I'm an avid golfer and this is sorta important to me. Max I would ever want is two sets of clubs for me and a buddy to head to the links. I have an older Ping l8 bag that izzo looks comparable in size, any more photos out there guys it would be most helpfull. On the sticks, seriously man if you're looking at any new Ping sticks do them up!!!!!!! Get to an outdoor demo/ fit day and you wont be sorry. I bought G5 driver and 2iron hybrid (fitted) just prior to last season and my cap dropped 3 strokes to a 5. Really great customer service I had with the Ping Demo Van Guys, you know the ones that travel across N/A (the boys in last years commerical fit me and were great). Anyways back to the tread, isn't the back seat 60 -40 split in the 128i? So worst case could always fold em flat....

I think, at the very least, they will fit in there with the rear seat folded down. And it you fold down just the shorter section then the other half will act like a stabilizer and keep the bag from rolling around. This is how I put my clubs in my PT Cruiser.

I did this when the drive event came to Little Rock. I actually had my Bag Boy pull cart and walked over to the demo 135 dragging the clubs behind - got a few laughs about that. The whole business fit without taking the bag off the cart frame but I had to fold the rear pass side seat down and remove the wheels from the cart.

ping clubs
speaking of clubs anyone hit the ping g5 irons?
i am thinking of picking them up this weekend I have been a Ping Guy for over 15 years. First the eye 2's and now the RAPTURES with graphite shafts... You cant go wrong with a set of pings ! I went to the dealer when the ONE arrived. I pulled up, opened the trunk of my is 350- pulled out my clubs, walked over to the dealer demo car; pulled out my driver - dropped in my stand bag, smiled, walked in and laid down my order. June 15th arrival.

Hey,
Just found this site and this post. Picked up my 128 convert. the other day. First thing I did was to see if my clubs fit. No problem, got my clubs as well as pull cart in the trunk, even with the top down. One thing I dont have the really big golf bag, I have a smaller carry bag. (for the rare time I want to walk and carry) later. |
