What does one have to do to be invited to one of these track day? Lambo's, Porsche's, Ferrari's all in one place on the track is just pure sweetness!

Pay lots of money to Track Corp, because the owners are none the wiser that they could drive the same tracks, in the same cars, for a lot longer period, in the same safety, at generally greater speeds for a much much lower cost.....

Tracks like Wakefield Park (NSW), Calder (VIC) and Winton (VIC), hold weekly or fortnightly free practice sessions that require either no racing licence, or basic licence (pay fee only stuff), helmet, toes to neck clothing, bonnet strap and fire extinguisher. Fees are $120 - $180 for a full day.

Certainly Track Corp makes the event of a special day with a bit of pampering and lots of high priced cars, but thrills can be got much cheaper.....and at places like Calder you can have the joy of sharing the track at the same time as some pretty amazing race cars.

Not sure who Track corp is? This was a Burrows day. But yeh the day is expensive ($450). But for the money you get instructors to drive with you when and if you choose. They are of a high calibre too.

I only do it a few times a year so quite enjoy being pampered

I think Burrows is great value given the level of instructors. Luke does a great job in organising it both in Melb and Syd too. And for those who like cars, it's better than any motorshow.

WOW. I can't believe this got "STICKY"

Has NOTHING to do with the 1 series.

The thread "Leather interior Pictures please"

Should of been stickied long ago. Many people come here asking about interior/exterior color combo choices and this thread shows it all. MANY have said it should be stickied. OH MAN.

Any AMG fans? I know of at least 5 AMG's in my building - C63 (I wonder who owns that one lol), CLK55, ML63, SLK55, E63 and CLS 63. Here is the CLS63 with aftermarket wheels.

Hey Way, out of interest, you ever considered P1 at all?

Doing some maths, as I've picked up a bit of well paid work, might be a worthwhile investment.

Land of Oz only? Hope not.

The first/only F430 in town just passed me a few minutes ago - Rosso Corsa Spyder (with the top up, ugh) - sounded so sweet as it cruised by...

Slightly jealous!

edit: ok, just saw it was an Oz thread, sorry.

No, he's Turkish. An old friend of mine from uni now in the coal industry. I think he bought it new.

He also has a Ferrari 456, an assortment of Porsches, plus some miscellaneous daily drivers like 2 Discoveries, an FPV GT-P Falcon, etc.
