Yes! And while that would look uniform, I love/ prefer the racing/ rally feel of the ///M blue and I wouldn't change it for anything! Including VO! The blue has a nice retro sort of touch IMO... I am also a whore for Laguna Seca Blue!

I must admit that adding the yellow wrap to the lights has really taken away how good your OSS modded lights looked, a backward step IMHO #13, sorry. (What I'm saying is the car looked killer before the yellow addition, not so now)

My car shutdown in a puddle over the weekend still waiting to here if its officially hydro locked or not. Insurance is covering regardless, just sucks. Plus, I have performance parts on the way which hurts a little more!
Lesson learned: Do not take car out in unfamiliar territory on a stormy day! Especially if modded. If this happened modded insurance might not cover and blame after market parts, although my car just simply shut off in an ankle to shin deep puddle(on a single lane on ramp)! Taking in the good, no one was hurt and I am very fortunate to have learned this lesson before the mods were on! It is just a wrong place, wrong time situation. I sincerely hope no one has to go through this! - Ridge

Wow! Sorry to hear about what happened but I'm glad it turned out OK for you in the end. Can't beat a new motor, haha. Regarding your future mods, I would skip the ESS tune and look into COBB. It's just much more versatile. Pre-loaded onto the device, they have OTS maps specifically made for a cars level of modifications, and you can change them at any time as you add more bolt ons (downpipes in your case). When you start logging engine data, change maps, reading trouble codes, or contacting a protuner to maximize your car's power or to whatever fits your needs, you will be much happier.
Also, just a thought about the FMIC intercooler. I'm not sure if you purchased the Forge unit yet (which is a nice intercooler) but you may want to look into an option that has a bit more efficient IAT supression for the temperatures we see here in S FL. I personally run the Helix FMIC and highly reccomend it. There was no cutting involved, it replaces the lower plastic charge piping which can break (I don't believe Forge does) and it's considered by many to be the best FMIC just based on it's ability to supress IAT's with minimal pressure drop. Good luck man, your car looks amazing! Love the OSS headlights more than anything else, they really make the car stand out. Hope to see you at a meet one day |
