Week 30 Support Group

Still a little aways but I figure I post up. My car is scheduled for Week 30 production but no confirmed production date yet.

Production Week 30 = 3rd week in July.

Anyone else with me?
Weird because I don't take ED till 9/18 but my car will be built in July?

Well I just answered my own question today. Went to meet with my CA and signed my purchase order to the factory - no turning back now!

Car gets built Production Week 30 mid July and the factory is closed all of August.

Yep, I'm week 30 too, with a 9/15 ED.

What are your travel plans while in Europe? I'm actually booking all the travel right now. :-)

9/15-17 Paris, France - staying at Le Meridien Montparnasse
9/17 flying to Munich
9/18 ED and sightsee in Munich
9/19 Depart Germany for Swiss Alps, Stelvio Pass, Cross over italian border to Florence, Italy, staying at Villa Fiesole
9/19-9/21, Florence, Venice, Milan,
9/22-9/24 Bra Cuneo, Lake Como, Nurburgring
9/25 - Drop off at port, fly back to NJ.

How about you? Also, I'm trying to organize a 1addicts/bimmerfest.com group shot for all those taking ED, so maybe if you have an hour to spare you can join in? Let me know your itinerary and hopefully all those I know taking ED in Sept, I'll figure something out.

I am on week 30 and we are on ED 'gether with "pheller". i am in a confused state, i called the 800 number and my production date is end of June or early july, i hope this makes sense. Great sked. Stelvio Pass

Ok, my schedule:

9/12 Fly to Munich
9/13-14 Visit with Friends in Munich, acclimate to Central European Time
9/15 Pickup the car, Welt museum stuff, Visit some more Friends in Munich
9/16 Factory tour in Regensburg, then on to Salzburg to stay over night
9/17 Tour Salzburg a bit, stop in Berchtesgaden, onward to Bad Aibling for one or two nights
9/18 or 19 Head to Frankfurt by way of Schwangau and a tour of Neuschwanstein, over night for 1 or 2 nights in Frankfurt
9/20 Head to the Nürburgring, take one leisurely lap late in the day, overnight at the 'Ring
9/21 More laps and oogling other vehicles, back to Frankfurt and overnight there
9/22 Back to Munich, OKTOBERFEST!
9/26 Drop off Car
9/28 Fly home to Boston

Looking like the only day we could really meet up is 9/18 or maybe 9/19 depending on your route.

My plans are not totally set in stone, though. Who knows what might change between now and then. But, my ticket is booked :-)

It would be awesome if you guys could join me when I first see my car and we snap a few pics outside the Welt or the BMW tower.

Ah, I'm arriving in Munich from Boston around 11am on the 13th. Therefore, seems unlikely we'll be able to meetup... have a great trip, though!

No, it will depart from Nice. The only drop-off that drives the car to another location are the Italy drop-off points.

I'm in the air on the 12th.... arriving around 11am Munich time on the 13th... I could potentially be up for lunch, though.... depending on when your train leaves. We can work this out via PM if you'd prefer....

So I tried calling the 800# today and noticed the prompt voice inflections changed, got excited and realized it still said...

"Your vehicle is scheduled for production, but no confirmed production date yet"

3 more weeks to go...
