It could very well be that the options were bundled differently in Canada and other markets. In some markets, the shadowline trim may have even been available as an a la carte option (I feel like I saw it this way on a BMW UK configurator, maybe?). Anyway, on US-market cars, the shadowline trim was absolutely included on all Sport and M-Sport versions of cars, and could not be had without one of those packages. Neither were the sport seats or suspension available individually, so if you have one you should have all three. Maybe try to dig up an ordering guide for your country and model year? |

According to the attached product guide, for 2009 in Canada the shadow line trim was only available as part of the M-Sport Package, which itself was only available on the 135i Coupe or Cabriolet.
Not sure how accurate that is. I want to say that the first year or two the 128i was sold in the US that no M-Sport package was available, either. By the time I was shopping for mine (end of MY10), however, the option was available across the lineup. |

The US Ordering Guide for 2009 shows the 760 Shadowline trim option as only available with the ZSP Sport Package or the ZMP M Sport Package.

The buyers might have requested the sport seats as an option (or it might have been part of another package), but not the Sports Package.
