Ack! Sorry everyone. And like and 1, my thoughts are with John.

I guess I'm now going to try to find a way to teleport Orca and myself home tonight.

and then he went skiing the next day and completely forgot about it! what a day out there

but yeah, i did get rear ended last night on my way home from the gym. i had been stopped at a red light near bentley for maybe 5 seconds and boom -- he hit me right where the trunk meets the bumper, also getting the left tail light. the trunk won't stay closed, so even though the car's driveable, i really shouldn't use it. i'll be rocking my sister's jetta for the week

but like i said, skiing made a killer distraction. then just to tempt the gods a little more, i'm visiting the 1 tomrrow......keep your fingers crossed

Well Rachel and Mike got hit by someone else... not their fault. I slid on black ice on rt2 Friday going to work and SMASHED a guardrail head on at 55mph... It doesn't look like it's totalled but it's in rough shape. I'm hoping insurance will understand it was due to blackice since my driving record is already terrible. UGH what a way to start off the year

On Saturday night, I went into the city to see a movie with some friends. We took the T in, but one friend drove and so we asked him to give us a ride home. And he was running stop signs and stuff and just generally not paying attention. When I protested he said "It's okay, we'll be fine" and I said "Um, 1-series owners are not doing so well this week, you really want to be more careful".

I made it home without incident.

I found out today that my caddy has "well over 5k" worth of damage... GMs brilliant engineers put the PCM right behind the front bumper. So in other words that got squished.

Sorry to hear about the door dings.. Winter is always a bitch on cars
