iDrive hardware?

This is a bit of an obscure geek question here, but does anyone know what sort of hardware the 09+ iDrive systems use for the navigation and interface? I'm talking about the processor, graphics hardware, and RAM memory that it uses. Some luxury brands are touting the use of Nvidia's Tegra graphics hardware that enables fairly slick 3D modeling and animation, so I'm wondering if BMW uses something similar or off-the-shelf tech (Intel or ARM processor, for instance), or if it's something very proprietary.

Be interested to know if anyone has the this info.
