Seems a few have buyer's remorse after the deposit and long wait for the car. Novelty may have worn off. Don't blame them, I was in that state of mind myself after reading so much about it on here. This one at Trivett, buyer reneged after all the mods have been done. I could have taken it but for the mods.

mini-congrats Anisto most of the guys have had their cars for a while now and may have forgotten what such small step/news mean to long suffering people like us, still waiting after 9 months and *chewing own nuts*

Just checked WW track and trace and it says 'liner release at port kembla 8.5.2012'. I assume this means the car has been offloaded yesterday?

My 1M was due to start production on the 1st of May and I was told it would be built by the 8th of May. With regard to tracking on the WW website, my dealer gave me a chassis number in the following format WBSUR92030 VUXXXXX. How should i enter this in to the WW tracking, will this number work in the Cargo ID field and is there meant to be a space in the chassis number?

Speak to the stock controller at the dealer and ask them to login to their system and give you a screen shot of the status. Status should be around 150.

See: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=206065

Mine finished prod on 15/12/2012, then was booked for transport from factory to Bremen port.
Thanks Ian.
I will contact the dealer and ask about the status code. Yours was booked with the shipping company the day after build completion so mine should be booked today hopefully.

Ian, on your WW status update (posted above), what's after Liner Release (6.2.12) and Discharge (8.2.12)? Would like to know how many more hold points after these. Thanks.

AUSTRALIA TOTAL = 168 cars
Port Kembla = 60
Melbourne = 65
Perth = 12
Brisbane = 31

Auckland = 24
So based on the latest numbers it looks like we will end up with more than 170 in Australia after all. Maybe even get to the promised 200.

No not quite Ian. Even tho it shows release on 8.5.2012 Port Kembla on WW website, the ship only just left Brisbane yesterday and scheduled in PK sometime tomorrow. So based on the 5-10 days window, happy if delivered by Friday week. I was told each dealer is permitted 4 accelerated priority releases per month and I'm one of those. So hopefully sooner.

What's the track day on 30th?

missed the boat?

Guys thanks for tracking info above, very useful. I decided to see where in the world my car was at, and unless I'm reading it wrong it missed the (cargo) boat...status still says it's received at the Terminal and vessel left port on 12-May.

Could it be the status hasn't been update?

Prob a lag in status update. Can't see BMW leaving your vehicle at the terminal until the next transport, not in Germany anyway
