In my experience it's going to depend on whether the business/ person you're buying it from keeps it in stock themselves, or has a warehouse located somewhere else and that what processing times are like at the warehouse.

I ordered some spark plugs from Autohauz and checked the tracking this morning, they left Phoenix, Arizona on Friday and are at Mascot this morning.

I ordered spark plugs a while ago from getbmwparts.com and they arrived very quickly and just received my new angel eyes on Friday and my special mountain heavy Teriann boots for the long Kokoda trail in New Guinea, they have arrived in Brisbane from USA through USPS and waiting on the Bentley workshop manual from the USA as well, all been very fast delivers a lot quicker than getting something delivered in Australia.

That sucks Sly.
The parcel will most likely arrive as soon as you place another order for DCI's.

Lol you are probably right but I won't be placing another order and I don't see why I should. I'm really frustrated with the situation at this point, I trust that Mike is a reputable vendor on this forum but he doesn't reply to any of my emails about it for the past few weeks either. I just hope it gets here soon, winters well and truly here, it couldn't come any sooner!

I brought some sports gear from UK on a Wednesday and I got it on the Monday.
But mind you it was shipped by DHL though.

I've actually got another set of BMS DCIs that have been used, and I couldn't be bothered cleaning. There were a couple of dents on the filter element (no rips or tears though) so I though hey, might as well get another set. They're dirty, but I believe are still in working order.

As consolation, I'll give these to you for free to ease your pain You can at least install them for a bit and listen to the woooosh as you await your new set. PM us a postage address.

Jeff, class move brother. Things like this are what make our little neck of the woods more pleasant than your average internet slaughterhouse.

I really appreciate the offer Jeef, it's really generous of you. But I'm sure it will come any day now (assuming Mike@N54 did send it when he said he did) and it's not fair that my loss should come at your expense.

Kenny is right though, our 1er forum is pretty tight and we do look out for each other Fingers crossed it comes today or this week, I can't wait for the wooooshh sound track. Again, thanks for the offer!

I just heard back from Mike after sending him a couple more emails. He says the shipment could be lost and he'll check with the post office tomorrow. We'll see what happens...

Still no package

I asked Mike to send me a copy of the receipt for postage which he did over 10 days ago. When I zoomed in on the receipt, I noticed the values aren't the same as what I had ordered... Seems odd. I asked him why but have not heard back since.

Hopefully shows up within a few days... 74 days and counting.

10 days for air-con filter to arrive from Tischer's warehouse in Chicago. Hope the control arms are the same so I can have them on for the long weekend!

Perfect timing for anyone who wants parts before the EOFY.

Okay just heard back from Mike... he said he has been busy with a million things and he assumed I received it because I didn't write to him after 2 days. This becoming a joke. This is what's happened recently.

On 17 May I asked him where the package was.
On 17 May he told me he would ask Canada Post the next day.
On 18 May he told me it would take at least 48 hours to investigate.
On 18 May I requested the receipt for postage - upon closure inspection I realised the values on the receipt didn't match what I ordered (didn't realise this until later)
On 28 May I sent an email asking what Canada Post said and get no reply.
On 30 May I sent another email asking what Canada Post said.
On 30 May I get a reply saying he has been busy with a million things and he assumed I received it.

I feel like I'm getting stuffed around. I gave him an extra week to find out what's going on and by the sounds of it he hasn't even contacted Canada Post yet

That doesn't sound like great service but I've ordered both my AA downpipes and ETS Intercooler from Mike all was ok.
I got excited when I saw you just added a post to this thread thinking you finally received your goods.
And the DCI saga continues. I recall that it wasn't just DCI you had in that parcel.
