Tri-State 1Addicts Go-Kart Meet 7/30/11
What's up everyone?
I got a few request to make our next 1Addicts meet to be a Go-Kart meet. We will be holding it at GPNY at Mt. Kisco, NY like we did last year. I can't tell you how excited I am to be checking this place out again! Hopefully we can do another group pic at the end in their spacious parking lot. Unlike the last time, we will just be "Arriving and Driving" as I don't have enough of a headcount from the Facebook group to rent out the track, although if you are seriously interested, please add yourself to the list below and if we can get a min of 10 people, I will begin the process and collect deposits from each of you. These deposits will reserve the track and you will pay the balance of your arrive and drive tickets when we get there that day. The benefit to a group race is that we will have a dedicated GPNY coordinator handling our group from orientation, to race suit fitting, to getting us and only us as a group on the track, either endurance racing with the ability to change drivers or 2 races and at the end a podium ceremony with medals. When: 11AM-2PM 7/30/11 Saturday Where: GPNY or Grand Prix New York 333 North Bedford Road Mount Kisco, New York 10549 TELEPHONE: 914-241-3131 Track Specifications: * Two European-inspired race tracks * 1/4 + mile in length each * SIX different track configurations * 6-feet of elevation change & 24-foot width * 14 turns per track There is a nice restaurant onsite and it should be a fun drive up to Mt. Kisco. There is also a chain restaurant next door. Hope to see you all there! Please RSVP and add yourself to the list + # of races you'd like to do. You may also attend and not race, but I highly advise you to join us! -D

Wish I could make it, but I'm doing the Around Long Island Regatta. Have a good couple of races, and remember to take a picture of the race results for bragging rights.

Which are you running now? I am not sure what you're looking to upgrade? Are you going from JB3 2.0 to JB4?

Everything is pretty much the same except for the power-tap. Its been a few months. I do admit, I love the can-bus control and the ability to see maps change/enable boost on fuel, set shift light RPM, all on the cluster. Jb4 is also alot smoother, making me miss the harshness of power from the Jb3.
