Haha, small world...
Yeah, I wonder how things are going (or not going) over there. I never hear from them.
As soon as I saw mention of announcements for power conservation, I figured it was lincoln!

We dropped off our Euro Delivery 128i in Frankfurt on July 21. I have been able to track the ship every day as it made it's way from port-to-port across the Atlantic, and finally arriving in Newark last friday. Now it is in customs and I have no way of knowing how many days or weeks the wait will be and no way to track it's progress until it finally gets to the BMW prep center. A few days after it gets to the prep center it should be delivered to Inskip and I will have my new toy back.

The wait and lack of tracking information at this stage is driving me nuts!

I have to say, Phil and Andy, that one of the blessings of my project being cancelled is that I haven't been traveling lately and haven't had to drive crappy rental cars. I don't think I've ever had to drive a Kia.

Ouch!

When I was in high school, I once cut my index finger washing dishes. It was deep enough that they took me to the emergency room to see about stitches. And since I wasn't bleeding out, I sat there with my finger pointed out for hours before they saw me and ended up just getting a butterfly bandage. But I always joked about how funny it would have been if it was my middle finger, because I would have sat there giving the finger for hours!

I have a wicked scar on that finger.

OUCH!! Sorry to hear Rachel! don't let that bugger get infected. Hope it's not on your dominant hand.

I managed to almost slice a finger off when I was 6, through the bone and all, cutting a Christmas tree out of cardboard with a utility knife (the perfect implement for a 6 y.o.). Sewed back on w/only limited sense of touch as the only issue.

oh, better believe it is!! Gonna try and see if I can work tomorrow. Got this massive bandage on that has to be there for 48 hours and can't get wet. Don't know how I'm gonna make it work....

Well, seeing as it's an injury sustained work, they sort of have to go easy on you, don't they?

Speaking of stitches, I have too many of them. Head, both feet, knee, fingers, arm.

I hope the code got set because im sick of taking it to the shop and having them tell me nothing is wrong.

Can autozone see if the code is set?
