So what exactly will the 335i be?

Ok...

So I decided since everyone likes poll, here is a good one. Based off public opinion currently, what do you guys believe the 335i will actually turn out to be...

Well, if it is ever made, I can pretty much guarantee it will have four tires, four rims, a steering wheel, and at least two BMW roundels on the exterior.

Sorry, only kidding, but you have to admit no one can prove me wrong with what I just said!

what if it's a 310 BHP 3.2L, i'm not sure it'll be 3.5L but i bet it won't be turbo.

Not sure I understand what the first option is. I think we will get some form of HP increase in the fall, with the turbo + DSG + M-sports pack later, after we get high quality gas standardized. Who knows, maybe Katrina mucked up the schedule to upgrade the refineries. What we do know is that Euro will get the 335i bi-turbo, perhaps in two versions.

seriously, maybe there should be a dedicated 335i and up and coming models section. i'm sick of these threads.

what will the 335i be? it won't be. it's gonna be the 350i with twin turbos, huge intercooler, special m quad exhaust, special intake developed jointly by bmw m and gruppe m, nos option, and for the first time ever synthetic blinker fluid.

Interesting...

Current Scorecard:
Optional: 3 (5.56%)
3.0L Turbo: 13 (24.07%)
3.0L (no Turbo, but HP boost): 6 (11.11%)
3.5L (no Turbo): 25 (46.30%)
Never: 7 (12.96%)

Wonder if it would have been different considering:

So the going winner (3.5L) by nearly 50% seems to be officially canned, considering the only source for the rumor has now retracted it. Hmm...

Just so the record is clear... I have not yet retracted the 3.5L claim... I still have sources that say we will get a 3.5L as well as an extremely limited production Turbo. I'm working very hard to validate my sources so that my position is once again clear.

Limited production Turbo model offering? Where's the logic in a "limited production run" for a turbo model, and also that for developing an N.A. specific 3.5 I6????? There is none, it's just stupidity(not flaming you but your source), and if it's true, BMW N.A. is SUTPID.

I'm hearing MUCH that I would call stupid these days.
