I used a pre-existing Paypal account. I'm guessing you would need to create one if you don't have one.

Okay I'll say it! You all can buy a BMW but you can't afford a $110 shirt???

Am I missing something here. A Ralph Lauren Polo shirt costs $90+, it's not customized in anyway.

See Link: http://www.ralphlauren.com/product/i...entPage=family

Cheap buggers anyway

I used the guest account, no special steps.

Interesting. When I was trying to pay, the only options the dropdown menu gave me for municipality were counties in UK.

Depending on where you get it from. The RL Polo's at the RL outlet store near me are $44 and are regularly on sale for less. I've compared to the ones old in other stores and they are the same.

On another note, I can't believe I just paid $118 bucks for a shirt.

My suit size in US is 38R (38 inches or 96.5cm).

Adidas soccer jersey (white):
UK size 38/40, France/Italy size 3
armpit to armpit: 56cm
rear collar to lower hem: 77cm (73cm if you ignore the "beaver tail flap at the rear)

US mediums unwashed brand-new Hanes (gray):
armpit to armpit: 50cm
rear collar to lower hem: 70cm

"Asian fit" Puma t-shirt from Hong Kong (black):
HK size medium
armpit to armpit: 46cm
rear collar to lower hem: 65cm

I wear the gray t-shirts every day. I have a big bag full of them and when one dies, another takes its place. I don't wear that Puma anymore because it's just too snug.

By my measurements, while I am a "M" in the US, I would be an "S" in in their measurements. This shirt also looks like it has sleeves that are slightly longer than the standard US medium that I used as a comparison, so I'm guessing that while the chest circumference will be as comfortable as my US M, the arm length will be such that they won't ride up when I reach forward.

I am torn between getting a S and an M at this point.

I am also considering the materials used. The white shirt is 100% nylon, while the others are 100% cotton. This shirt is a 50/50 blend. I suspect that it will stretch a little bit with some wear, but not by much.

As for the inscription, it will probably be my first initial, last name, and 263/740.
Buy a Nautica "Polo" as my S matched their S exactly.

Everyone sees value differently. . To most who owns a 1M, $120 is very small change. Same people who thinks it is ridiculous to spend that much money on a polo might think $120 for a night out is cheap. Each to their, own, and mind is marked as SPAROZ.

I don't think any Australian 1M owners are skipping the shirt, especially our cars here cost $115k.

Even if in europe we are used to overpay for a lot of stuff, 110 usd appear to be quite a lot for a shirt...
Nevertheless, i could not resist and ordered mine in orange, with "one of 6309"...
Probably the only recommandation is to hide the price to your partner

And if he/she discovers the price, you can still argue it worth twice more on ebay (probably true anyway)

I'm so surprised by all the grousing here. It's expensive, but the value easily outweighs the cost to me, so it's an easy call. Considering the incredible value I consider my 1M to be, I certainly won't quibble over the cost of the shirt.

Now, if only they offered it in blue.

Ordered mine, wasn't sure on the sizing, normally I'm a medium but I measured my polo t-shirts and they are all about 52cm for the chest, I hate baggy shirts so I went with the small, hope it fits!

Speaking of BMW being cheap, I have a friend who buys Mercedes and they are always giving him stuff....golf balls (nice ones), windbreakers, etc. BMW? Nada. Hell, even the key chain that comes with BMW's lately is pathetically cheap looking. It makes a person question where else they pinch pennies.
Or where Merc pinched pennies to pay for their freebies.

The pace car was built before yours, so if you're not recognizing it shouldn't you be 292 and not 293 of 739?

I'm going to order. Still trying to decide on what to put on the sleeve.

But when I measure a pretty full sized golf shirt I'm wearing today, I come up with just a bit over 63cm. Because I hate tight (euro fit) I'd go with XXL, but I'm concerned it will be a dress!!!!

Thoughts?

Like the shirts but hate ordering clothing online, never know how perfect the "fit" is until you get to throw it on!

It's like ordering a 1M in VO: never seen and driven the car - never seen the color IRL. 1 size only. No margin for error. And you got to wait for it too. But that costs a bit more than a polo shirt.

Not cheap, The value to cost is not there. 110 for a tag on a BMW polo, I am sorry as mentioned before. Why would I spend that on a tag. I rather spend the funds on parts than a polo. My 2 cents.

Touche', unless......... Someone backs out of an order and you place a deposit on the car while on vacation so that you can go view it in person 4 days later

Interesting this point of our (slightly pathetic) lives; after spending sleepless nights just to decide which color to order and watching many photos and videos I had to order my VO 1M back in May 2011 without seeing one in person. Then, the first specimen arrived to the country in VO (Turkey at the time, was July 2011) and I went to the dealer who kindly called me to see it and I did not like the color under the showroom interior lights, was a cold shower effect. Later, when I took delivery of my car at the end of October 2011 under the orange-bright Chilean sun I just loved it. However, I may very well end up receiving a dress instead of a t-shirt! Could use it as an excuse to put some more weight though

I know where youre coming from. Guess what... I wanted a Black one... BUT this one came available first so placed an impulse "deposit" in order to have them hold the car until I got back from vacation. I set one foot inside the delivery garage..... and I could hear my credit start crying at the abuse it knew that was soon to ensue

My jaw hit the floor.... I was speechless, in awe..... I had to have her. Placed a second, larger deposit in good faith, and then arranged my own financing with Penfed who beat the crap out of BMW's rates! me gusta! At least I paid sticker
