Performance exhaust
Hi all
Really enjoying the 1m, image attached, but it's so blooming loud at 70mph on the motorway!! The car is still under BMW warranty. What exhaust systems can I use without invalidating the warranty? Do BMW make an official upgrade? Googling has left me coming up short. Thanks all |

There is no official 'upgrade' for the exhaust, just the aftermarket. I guess any warranty issues would be down to the dealer/BMW, but I would have thought it hard to argue that a bolt on rear muffler caused any issues.

It's not the exhaust that's loud, the N54M has a resonator delete in the mids, most economicly fix is a set of N55mids or Maddad mids, draw back is you lose your secondary cats (they are low cel anyhow). Not sure the rules in the UK, if it's a problem try and find some n54 non-m catted mids..that will fix you drone.
