When it's raining and I open my window for a smoke, it seems the rain channel was designed to let water come right into the window and drench the window switch area.
Does your 1 also do this?
actually yes it does.. very annoying. waiting for the switch to fry ...LOL

and too OP as wierd as it sounds it is considered normal.. ( condensation)

Yes it does.

Another thing that I forgot to mention in my previous post, is that I also get massive condensation on both sides of the pop-up idrive screen.

I remember seeing this post a while ago and thinking if many people say it's normal and happens on their cars, it must be a common problem. Thank god my car doesn't have the same problem.
Well, guess what. After 4 years of driving my car, I noticed it for the first time today.
I'm out of warranty so I can't get it fixed (for free). I don't think it's a HUGE deal so I guess I'll have to deal with it, if it happens everytime I used the A/C, that is.

Shouldn't the AC should take the humidity out of the interior, so that there is no condensation? That's why they tell you to switch on the AC when the windows fog up on the inside...

Technically that's what it's doing.

I noticed this maybe a month ago. It was a very hot humid day and I had the top down and AC on and I could see the outline of the ducts under the dash and had some condensation at the vents. That's the only time I've noticed it though.
