1M interior with orange stitching?
My sales manager is telling me that all 1Ms will come with black interiors that have orange stitching.
Anyone else heard this? He did also confirm the 3 exterior colors, MT only, and only 500 production units for the US. Not sure what the source is though. |

Your sales manager isn't exactly a BMW insider. It's conjecture until Scott confirms or disconfirms.

Youd think a man that has my money for a deposit would convey details he gets from reliable sources though. |

Seriously, Seriously bad decision. That would almost be a deal breaker for me. I want to spend money on a car I WANT, not to be stuck with orange stitching. (If it wasn't valencia orange) |

There is no way they would include orange stitching with blue and red stitching on the steering wheel.
Your sales manager has no idea...he was probably looking at a picture of a TT. |

My salesman told me the same thing (different dealership)
My deposit is at a dealership in NV, and my salesman also stated the interior will be black with orange stitching. Will totally match the Valencia Orange! Can't wait to order...
This is a cut/paste from his email: Some items I have learned about the 1 Series M Coupe - -M3 Suspension -Manual Transmission -Colors available are Burnt {Valencia} Orange, Black or White -Interiors will be Black with orange stitching -No Moon Roofs available. -Flared fender wells and Rear Spoilers -Infotainment Option will be extremely limited. |

Wow Seriously hope the orange stitching is not the case. If so BMW just lost a customer, I don't intend to get the Valencia Orange car and most certainly don't want orange stitching all over the interior of my red car. Actually if all interiors are black the its a terrible shame, as I was hoping for while with red leather. (OR Monte Carlo Blue and black or a deep brown) This may sound silly but its like selling the car in only lime green, that would turn many of people off. If the wheel stitching is tri color and the rest is orange that would be awefull, and if the steering was orange I would feel like I'm driving a Halloween car. I guess they likely wont sell well at all at this rate. I simply cant imagine more than a few hand fulls of people who would put up with orange stitching on the interior. Maybe it looks better than what I have in my mind... |

I'm kinda digging the idea, but to echo what others have said, I worry a bit about the contrast between the orange stitching in the seats and the red/blue stitching on the steering wheel.

Here is a ballpark stab at what it might look like, although these seats are from the "Edition" M3. IMO the blue stitching on the MC Blue car is awesome. The orange might not be so bad but for sure I don't think it belongs on the Black/White cars.
Time will tell. |

Orange on Orange would look pretty nice, but orange just isn't my color for a car. I hope there is some choice there. |

I am positive those numbers are wrong bmw states that 2700 cars will be made worldwide and out of those 2700 half will come to the U.S. The M-brand of cars sells more in the U.S. than other countries.
