Where is the best place to purchase this? I Want to make sure, I get all the required parts, the right wheel and the best price.... some places have mutipale wheel choices listed.

Is this place reputable? I just got a very weird email from them asking for a photo copy of my drivers license and photo of my cc front and back for verification before they process the order..... but the $ has already been taken out of my account

Yeah, I wasn't going to. I logged into my account wondering why my order was not processed yet to find it on hold, and a note attached looking for the above mentioned photos. So this was not in a email sent to me (I know, I originally said it was)....a note attached to the order on thier site. I will be giving them a call tomorrow. I already responded via email saying to either complete the order or cancel it. That info is staying with me . Concerning since I read they have had cc fraud hacks on thier site before.....

Per their website as to why they ask for your DL
https://www.getbmwparts.com/faq/inde...&siteID=214672

Our credit card authorization system can not always authorize your credit card's billing address and zipcode if it is not exactly as on record with your bank, entered incorrectly, or outside the US. If this occurs, we'll place the order on hold and request you email over a clear scan/pic of the front and back of your credit card and driver's license. Please send to gethelp@getbmwparts.com and include your order #. Once we receive and authorize your information, we'll delete/destroy these documents and add your name to our database of approved customers so we won't have to get this information again for future orders. We apologize for this one time inconvenience, but we've had to strengthen our fraud protection policies due to some recent fraudulent purchases. Failure to provide these documents will result in order cancellation.

Were you paying through google wallet? Google asked me for a copy of my ID which I thought was a scam, but it was actually wasn't. Also, Tischer would've refunded the shipping fee. They are typically easy to work with.

I'm sure they are legit and would have refunded the shipping fee. Too many red flags for me for what should have been a simple order.

I wouldn't sweat them asking for that info.
Many times I've had to order parts from junkyards and they request the same info.
I think this way they can actually determine if it's you and not a stolen number off a card that isn't even in the perps hands
I hope this allays your fears, I'm sure you'll have a good experience

Hockey Monkey used to do the same thing, I wouldn't be too concerned. It is a pain in the arse, though.
