I like it
and it does not have an ///M in the grill so...no poser.....I wonder how much it would cost to do that MOD?

I like the side vents! I don't think it's a 'poser' thing. I fail to see the distinction between adding side vents and any other styling mods.

I wouldn't do it... but then again I am a purist and don't believe in anything that didn't come from the designer's pen (or is that mouse these days )

I wouldn't do it because it is not an M and because I would have to spend a lot more money trying to make it look like an M.

I like the louvers
But what really matters is do you like them. Its your car, and if you want to put louvers on, go for it! As long as it is done in a manner that is consistant with the quality of the car, it should be fine. 2 louvers don't make you a poser in my book.

I've thought about this in the past, as well. Go for it if you have the money to spend and really liek the look. I do agree with no ///M badge. I severely dislike ///M badging behavior.

I absolutely love it. With a kit it would look really nice. Its about making your car look the way you want it to look and if you want vents WITHOUT THE M BADGE then go for it!
The "purists" will get over it. By the way, where would you get them anyways?

I'm thinking the Lumma vents might look better without the horizontal chrome strips. I wish someone made vents that were less M-like, more unique and subdued. The Z3 vents look good on the Z3 (a non-M car in its original form).

One last thought for the not-wannabe-poser crowd, the M3 is not the only vehicle with fender vents.
