Carlo, sorry for the late reply. My computer died and since I was swamped at work, I did not fix it until yesterday.

Are you measuring the distance from the wheel to the shock assembly with the wheels on the ground or off? On our car, we have about 5mm spacing from the tire to the shock assembly with the wheels in the air. Here's the thing though with the 135i suspension. As you put the car back on the ground and the suspension compresses, the wheel pulls away from shock assembly so that you have even more space, especially if your car is lower than stock. It is hard to see this as when the car is on the ground, the wheels is in the way. I had the bumper off the car when I was measuring offsets for the wheels so I can physically see the clearances and accurately measure them. with the car on the ground, I have about a tad over an inch of clearance from the shock tower. This is running high negative camber as well. 5mm clearance is more than enough clearance if this is with the wheels off the ground. You will have 5mm of clearance when the suspension is fully unbound and that hardly ever happens (unless you like jumping curbs). Even then 5mm is enough unless you wheel bearing are shot, you won't hit the shock assembly.

We did not have problems with the rears. Fit was perfect.

@WAY: can i ask you something !?

This is a pic of my KW Clubsport kit before it went on the car:

Please take a look at these (rear spring adjusters):

They did not fit right on my car for some reason....

http://www.giacomino.biz/zsan/130i/problem.mp4

In order to fit them i had to grind out 4/5mm of its diameter as seen here:

http://www.giacomino.biz/zsan/130i/solution.mp4

Did you have the same problem? Or were they plug & play?

Do you have a picture of yours before they went on the car?

Let me know

Thanks, Carlo

PS - Do you have 3 degrees camber on both front/rear ??

Ours did have helper springs. You're good at noticing details though  as they are not in the car. We chose not to put them in.

Hi Carlo, sorry for the late reply also! Yes, ours was plug and play. But then again I do not know, as I didn't install it myself!

I have found this other one in your gallery....

It looks like it's def different between the 135i and the 130i... it's seems confirmed now...

Anyway... it seems like my mechanic double-checked again while performing the Quaife install and there was no way anything else could be removed..

Next time i go to Germany i will go to BMW near the Nurburgring and will investigate further.

Thanks for sharing the pics!

Carlo

Way, could you please take a pic of whatever is left or all removed parts from the original suspensions?

I need to check & compare with the ones i removed (if you followed this topic i am sure you understand the request).

Thanks in advance!

K.
