Amazing! Aren't you worried about the break-in period though?

Where in Ohio is this little track man? It looks like an awesome weekend drive to take, maybe hit Cedar Point on the way there.

It's a fun, fast track, you can carry alot of speed through the turns.

Nah... this is my 3rd bimmer, I've treated them all the same & all have rewarded me in return with outstanding performance. People don't give these engines enough credit, they are more than tough enough to handle this stuff.

Thats not bad. Almost makes the 8 hour drive there more reasonable than waiting for an open track day at the Glen.

This car is loads of fun! The group I was in inlcuded an E39 M5, E90 328i,
E36 M3, 2 M coupes & an older supra. I was able to pass all of the above & never got passed... but the catch is I didnt have my helmet so I had to borrow my buddies who was also drivng that day. As a result, I was basically in a beginners group. Realistically I should have been in a group or two higher, but couldn't because of the helmet issue. On the plus side, since it was just these few cars.. we pretty much had the track to ourselves during our sessions.

As for power, I can't say I really missed the 300hp from the 135i, it would not have helped me corner any faster & I was already hitting 120mph on the back straight. Most of the the above cars are clearly faster cars.. but they were getting through the turns slower than me so... the straights weren't long enough for the power to make up the difference in exit speeds.
