as mentioned before, i probably wouldn't have gone sedona of i lived in a sunny state, the color does wash out in bright light. on the flip side though, cloudy places bring the deep tones out which are what i love about the color. gotta love the cloudy NW

UFO,
Your pics are very close to capturing the elusive, evasive to Internet imagery, SR, very close. SR is a complete misnomer, describing the color as red is misleading, it really should have been named Sedona. The color is not red, it is the color of the geography in that region of the SW USA. It is not a 'bad' color, it is an awesome color, but, it ain't red. Nope.

....having ordered Sedona back in December, i had made my decision long before any of the 1s' where really around to even check out at dealerships. In the last few months i started to doubt my choice, and even sweat it a little, but taking delivery of the vehicle last week i can say with complete honesty that i absolutely love the color. The pictures here capture most of the color but as everyone knows...it's a color you just have to see in person. It's not "motorsport white beautiful" but it has an extremely classy sport look to it that i wouldn't trade even for the white (sorry AW guys, no offense though :smile. I love it.
P.S. Give me some time and i'll post pictures tonight of my PCD delivery

Thank you Surname. i agree, it is quite different to see it in person.
Ragenikon, i'm happy you love your SR. I know how you feel I wonder how it will look over time? My only reason for getting Sedona Red is when i saw it the first and only time in person at the dealership on a rainy day. It was love at first sight. the Sedona Red looked so mysterious as it was soaked and dripping wet. |

Nice pictures, looks great there. And what central cali place is that? All I see is farm forever .
And for others, lets see a Sedona and Lemon! I may just have to get that combo just to be the only one hehe...probably not, but I'd like to see it. |

I'm not too far from a little place called Yosemite, maybe you've heard of it? Southern entrance.

I saw a Sedona 128i the other day sitting outside of mine and my girlfriends fav breakfast spot (The Floridian). I actually really liked the color in person. Whole different beast than what you get in pictures. I thought it was awesome, but the lady didnt' like it so much...

Very nice. Some of the best Sedona pix I've seen. I had originally ordered Sedona and then bailed for SGM. And then wanted to bail for Montego. Whatever color is posted last is the color I want the most. LOL.

My God that's hot! Those are some of the best PIC's I've seen of the Sedona Red. I know, I know, lighting is a big factor. But it's still freakin' hot!
Great car!!!! Great Lighting! I think the 135i photographs better on overcast days. At least thats what I have noticed from the overall pics I have seen. Oh, and it also does well in diffused lighting, you know, right before it gets dark outside. This car is liquid hot!!!!!!!!
