Worst and most expensive mod
Well we have had the best and easiest mod (what a raving success that thread was!)
Now be prepared for the worst and most expensive. I though I'd do some work to the front bumper to increase airflow. Doing this also allowed me to increase the camber on the front wheels, the two went hand in hand really. What do you think, comments welcome... https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/Publi...jpg?w=b8777bd3 https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/Publi...jpg?w=ca7c8a49 Firthy Last edited by Firthy247; 02-15-2012 at 03:20 AM.. With this asymmetric camber adjustment, did you confirm whether your Nascar competition lap times improved? |

Should have started my previous post with expressing how sorry i am to see OP's 'modified' car. Hope you're covered and back to stock soon.
OP is dedicated to a UK Nascar/Indy500 franchise . Did you mod for strictly left or right turn? |

Is this called the "bad driver" mod? Jk...I'm saddened to see a 1M looking like this. I hope it gets repaired quickly, and it doesn't seem like major damage, luckily!

Like someone mentioned, at least you got rid of the nasty headlight washer nozzles And you didn't seem to touch the headlight assembly, which I just discovered (from another thread) costs about $1200 per piece. Did you damage the wheel?

Well I received a call from the body shop today, I knew she was in a bad way when the steering wheel didn't turn the drivers wheel anymore!!!!
Around 8k of damage and not back for three weeks grrrr Thought I'd post it up so people could have a laugh at my expense, people on this forum seem to be turning on each other on a regular basis as of late so I though I would try lighten the air a little. Not everyone i hasten to add, there is still some great posts on here by some knowledgable 1M owners, for that I thank you. Not had any decent weather yet to try out my 400bhp+ tune and now the snow has gone I've instigated this bloody damage. Anyhow three weeks and counting, might treat myself to a little track day when it's back. Regards Firthy |
