did you ask for a cup holder . Now, this may be a little late to ask, but doesn't the car come with floor mats right, are you talking about the rubber mats ecap18? Every car I had had floor mats, and the same with my friends and family.

Crazy, my car only got to port two days ago. It's of course not updated on BMW USA but my CA just e-mailed me to say the car would be there in a few hours! That's super fast. I mean, I do live near Charelston but still. Wow.

For anyone who cares, Princess VII went through the Panama Canal earlier and is steaming her way rapidly (25mph or so) towards San Diego and Port Hueneme.
Not much longer now... J

Very nice indeed... Did you get your vehicle earlier than you had anticipated according to the ship date and arrival or was it longer? |

It seemed dead-on from what the dealer told me it was going to come. But when I ordered the car in April the dealer told me a little bit longer due date, which was July/Aug. Toward its arrival to the us the dealer said maybe at the end of June which was true, but i was anticipating a little longer till i knew better, so that there were no disappointments, lol.
It turned out great. My dealer got me the cup holder which I was wondering about, and extra bottle of oil in the trunk, and a $35 gift card to there boutique upstares where I got a stainless steel mug, and #1 stainless steel keychain. Also a bonus that day, I found out my insurance was going to be cheaper!! Paying a $100. I was paying 200+ a year or so ago for my wrx. All I can say it was a great day, and def worth the wait.

Also I should note that when I got the car the dealer pointed out that the did make a mistake and give me Gray Poplar wood trim instead of the gloss black. I would say if it was any other trim, I would have been pissed, but I am actually happy with the Gray Poplar wood trim. The dealer pointed out that there would be less finger prints showing up. And as people have said, it does have a slight brown look in some lighting conditions (darker).

FYI:
For those on the Asian Chorus in California/West Coast: PORT HUENEME, CA U.S.A. 03/07/2008 That is the docking date, 2 more days... So I assume we can pick our car up from anywhere within a week to 2 weeks from now?

I picked mine up 6 days after it was discharged, im not sure how fast/slow they do things on the west coast though, but that can give you a rough estimate.

That will give you an idea of how long it will take for you in your area. Just remember that it will take at least 3 days to go through VDC and that is if there are no damages to the car that need repair:w00t: Anyone have any news on the Princess VII???:iono:SHould be getting close now.

It stops in SD on the way up and then goes to Oxnard. Aren't all of the cars unloaded at Oxnard? Then they get on trucks to go to their final destination?
