apart from 135i brakes what else is there availble that will fit? will m3 e9x fit?
Wearing out pads/rotors is not brake fade.

As a heads up, none of these brake calipers(135i or E9x M3) are going to do anything for your street driving aside from make your car ever so slightly heavier/slower with worse handling dynamics, and much more expensive brake maintenance.

I do like my 135i brakes for the aesthetics and the feel they gave me compared to my worn out rotors and pads.
And regarding rotors what's the best brand that I should go for or stock will do? And should i buy 130i calipers too or mine will do?
The rotors for this oem style update are probably best from BMW e89 z4 330mm because it looks like 135i rotor with a aluminum hat so that is a quality design

Caliper carriers can be had from a e90 330. This would need the use of 130i break pads because of extra diameter. The 128 brake pad would work but will miss the extra space bear the rotor hat

Alternatively Complete refurb 330i calipers can also be had for cheap. And then you would need 330i/z4 brake pads

Use realoem to look up part numbers

Just installed mine! And something amazing that I learned today at the BMW dealer is that if you put the bmwpe brakes or these you have to code the car too! So whom ever has these on the car don't forget to code the ecu!

did you replace all four or just the fronts? Is it true you lose the parking brake if you install the rears?

Thanks

If you have 125i 128i or any non 123d 135i
Then yes the rear makes you loose hand brake function until you fix it with custom brake shoes

This is ridiculous, are you saying the performance brake kit from BMW for the 128i makes you lose handbrake functionality, or just the OE kit off a 135i?

No, the kit comes with rear calipers that are only single piston and unpainted. I painted the rears on my kit. The parking brake is untouched and works properly. This is a pic right before I installed it a few years ago. The 135i rear caliper does not work without some customization.

Sory to confuse, I was on the mobile app.

I meant the 135i rear brake clipers & rotors will make you lose hand brake.
128i kit features rear calipers with a piston 2-3mm diameter larger. The same calipers europeans get on the 325i/330i rears
