Pic request - Cannister Exhaust
As thread title states.
Sure, it's very JDM but my family's "fun car" is a Supra with a huge cannister angled out. I've seen it on a 1 before and it looked kinda cool. Besides, since our cars are Supra-ish it wouldn't be too blasphemous. [flame suit on] |

The only BMW that i saw that puled it off was that e90 sedan in white. I don't think the muffler was 3", perhaps smaller. It was also Matte silver, no chrome stuff

I am not trying to start an e-argument, but there is a benefit of running a huge coffee can muffler on turbo vehicles. More airflow, which helps the turbo breath better, more free flowing exhaust.
It's true, you can run a 3inch exhaust with a normal sized muffler, and still have the same benefits, but some people prefer the coffee can muffler look (I use to drive a WRX). I agree, only Japanese cars should have the coffee can muffler style exhaust, but if someone whom drive a BMW wants that look, let them do what they want, after all, it's there car. |

Not a fan. I understand the added function, but there's no way I would run this look on a European car. It's not a bad look, I just think it will always look better on a Subaru or some other Japanese car.
