FS - Brand New Set of LCI Blackline Tail lights, Never Installed - $385 Pick-Up Only

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Location:
✓ Local Pickup Only

Item Interest
Well, after only seeing them in pictures online and debating about it for over a year, I finally went ahead and ordered a set of the BMW Blackline tail lights (BMW part #63212225282) last week and got them a couple days ago. I opened up the box, took the protective blue sheet off just the right side so I could hold it up to my car and see how it'd look and I'm really on the fence as it's a lil darker and lil more aggressive than I'd like, so after thinking about it for a few days, I think in the end I'm not going to put them on. Luckily (for you), my loss is your gain as I know they rarely come up for sale and go fast. They're brand new, never put on or used and the left one still has the protective film on it as you can see.

Price is firm and right now I'm only considering local pick-up as I really don't want the responsibility of packing these things back up well and shipping them out. If they're still available in a week or so, I might consider shipping them at the buyer's expense.

personally i think you're silly for not installing them. looks amazing on mineral grey.

its not like test fitting them will devalue them. Install them on the car itself, have them lit up and working and then decide imo. You drive an 135is so you already have LCI tails, these will look even nicer imo.

Well, I won't dispute that I'm NOT crazy. =) I've been on the fence for a long time about them for a year and a half, going back and forth, so just finally, spontaneously ordered them a week ago so I could at least hold them and see them in person and see what I think. And it leaves me still on the fence, 50-50.

I figure if I'm merely indifferent and not EXCITED about having them installed, what's the point? Especially since I'm a bit crippled and sadly would have to pay to have them installed since my hands don't work so well.

Anyways, right now I got Pepper first in line to perhaps pick up today. I'll let everyone know if I decide to ship, but considering right now I can barely lift the seemingly light box, don't think I will ship.

Sorry to here that bud, you won't have any problems getting rid of the Black lines.

You really should install them on your car and see how you like them. I bet you will. I was also on the fence once I saw how dark the lights were in my hands. Once on the car, it was LOVE at first sight!

Here are some blacklines on grey 1er's to help make up your mind. In the very least you get a free "bump" for your FS thread.

Thanks for torturing me with those Dackel! Ugh! <looks over at box>

Well, for now I'm considering them tentatively sold, though.
