Since it's going to be 50 degrees and sunny today, I decided to break out the 1! Hooray global warming!

...I really miss driving my one. Next year I will be getting a nice set of snow tires and at least drive it some during the winter months! Glad you were able to get your 1er out on a great sunny day here in IN

I couldn't resist! I hear you on the snow tires. The run flats are worthless south of about 45 degrees.

I got $1700 off for taking one off the lot, plus a set of floor mats. That's a pretty weak discount compared to what you see on non-BMW car lots... but it's all supply and demand pricing. Bummer, huh?

Replaced the wheels on my daughters 1999 328i and just thought I would see if anyone would want the old OEM wheels. One needs a moderate amount of work (hit one too many chuck holes), one mild work and two are in ok condition. Let me know if anyone has interest in meeting me and I could/would give you these wheels. They are just boxed up in my garage for now.

After all the snow we had yesterday, I saw my neighbor while out shoveling my driveway. He said he was surprised I wasn't driving the BMW.

He knows I don't even take it out in the rain.

I hear ya...I hate having it stored up. However, we should only have about two more months until it gets periodically reasonable.

My wife said I was weird because I went out in the garage to smell my leather. I told her that it was normal. It's normal, right? RIGHT???

Lucky SOB! The roads were still a bit wet and salty in my area, so I didn't take it out.

Hey guys we are having a VW/Audi/BMW/Porsche meet this Saturday 01/31/09. So far I think we are going to the Heidelberg Cafe in Pendleton for lunch and then back to EPwerks for some beer and car talk. EPwerks is a new European tuner/service shop here in Indianapolis. Currently EP carries Active Autowerke's and UUC Motorwerks products. The owner is also one of APR's drivers in the Koni Challenge series. You guys should come check it out. There will be a pretty decent VW/Audi turnout. We are trying to get more BMWs out. Right now there are members on Bimmerforums coming. I figured I would reach out to you guys and let you know that there are already Euro gtgs going on as well as a Euro shop. PM on here for more details or call EP at 317-579-9520. Hope to see some of you 1ers out this weekend!

Wish I could make it, but already had plans that I cannot change. Would like to meet other 1 addicts sometime when the weather warms up. This snow is not fun

We should try and have a meet in the spring. Maybe even extend it to the Chicago area guys or something. All I know is, my 1 can't even make it out of the garage right now with all this snow.
