sunroof problem?

This has been happening about every other day for the past week or two now. I NEVER use my sunroof so im confused. I never notice it happening I just come outside in the morning or walk to my car in the lot and see it down. Is there a simple fix for this? It's starting to rain and I'm concerned I'll walk out to my car one day and I'll be flooded in. Oh well I guess I'm going to have to make a trip to the dealer :/

Do you use your key fob to lower the windows before getting in the car? It looks like the moonroof is just starting to open.

If it lowers by itself (windows seemed up in the pic), then I say a trip to the dealer is warranted.

I don't think much water should leak in since there should be a drain around the roof assembly.

I do use my fob to open the windows occasionally.
Wow, I'm embarrassed I can't put two and two together. I never thought it also would open the moonroof
Thanks....

If you use the fob to open the windows, it's tough not to start opening the moonroof. Solution - either open the windows from within the car, or close the sunroof after getting in the car.

If its not what everyone else is saying, this has happened to me before. Do you throw a code on the tach screen? You can reset the moonroof by holding the button i believe in the close position for like 30 seconds. If its not the the close position try holding one of the other two functions on that button down for like 30 seconds....be patient

Don't feel embarrassed, I ran into the same thing about a week after I picked up my car, and thought the moon roof was falling in lol. Then I realized the key fob opened the moon roof two days later when I was showing my friend how it opened the windows.
