Normally I don't like things like this, but it really works well on your car. I like the mix of the matte and glossy black on the car. It breaks up the usual all black look.

its durable enough to last through washes. But it still comes off by just rolling it down with your fingers.

*Make sure your car has a few layers of wax on it before you do this. My car it comes off easier and my friend who doesnt wax his car it is a lot harder to get off. No paint damage on either though.

Yea I'm not a huge fan of super flashy designs unless your car is completely decked the fuck out like EinserM. But it was just subtle enough for me to really like it! I might take it off soon and change it up.

Very nice!!!!! I just did my window trim this weekend and it turned out perfect. With the right prep, this stuff is very forgiving and if you mess up, rub it off and start over

Question about the layers.. recommended 4 layers so I read.. did you guys let it dry before apply another layer or just keep going over the section?

I waited 5 min after first coat ( so the surface was tacky) and 10 min between after. I did a total of 6 coats. The more coats you do, the more durable, but also the easier it would be to peel off once or if you decide to remove it.

How was it when you pulled the tape off afterwards? Did it try to pull the plasti-dip off?

Cant stop staring at it. Man that looks amazing.

Question: How long can you keep the plasti-dip on there before the sun decides to make a permanent line where the plastidip used to be, once you peel it off? Or is it a "the plasti-dip doesn't last long enough on there to worry about that" sort of situation. I hear plastidip lasts 6-9 months on wheels, but no clue about the same for body panels.

Yea it did. I rested a blade edge on the plasti dip side at a really low angle. So as I pulled the tape it cut the plasti dip on the line of the tape.

I would think that sun-fading would take longer than plasti-dip could last haha. I wouldnt suggest having it on for very long though. I liked this idea because I get bored frequently, as im sure many of you do too, so I liked that I could change it up every couple weeks or month and not spend very much money.

If you want something more permanent play around with vinyl. Just an update Ive had it on for a week and a half. Its holding up fine on the body there are a couple nicks on it but I think those might have been from me lol. Other than that its not peeling away or anything. I would say that with proper care this could last 6 months but I wouldnt plan on having it on for anymore than like 2-3 months at a time.

It only takes like 5 minutes to dry. Wait about 5-7 mins between coats. More coats=easier to pull off and more durable.
