Previous e90 TURBO being tested in the US. Please notice the intercooler!

The new pics also show an intercooler.
Those are some really great pics of a Euro spec 335i... I'm glad to see that they are still driving it!

That cooler out front could very well be an upgraded oil cooler, could it not?

Yes the pictures are old (July), yes they are of a euro spec test mule. Let's not jump to personal attacks without checking facts. Whoops, I just violated my own admonition, stick to the engineering!

The exterior pics doesn't look like the same car as the interior where there are boost gauge. In one of the exterior angle from the back, you should be able to see some of the laptop holder and the mounting bracket they have on the dash, but they're missing.

That also looks rather small for an intercooler. US spec cars are very strict for having FMIC, thats why you always only seen couple of small side mounts (other than the EVO, who had to redesign the whole front bumper to meet crash standars just so they can keep the front mount). I think that might just be oil cooler or tranny cooler.

I would believe that to be the new 335i rather than the M3... isn't the 335i coming first before the M3?

The dual exhuasts look sick. I'm fearful that this car will command a 50k price tag

The communal E90post brain already decided that the 335i ZHP (aka M-sports pack) will be 41,399 MSRP. ED and a decent discount and you have yourself a bargain.

In order for that to happen BMW is going to have to piss off a ton of current 330i owners, as the price for the new 330i (soon to be 328) would have to be bumped down some to accomodate $41k for the 335. It's a be dammed either way type situation for BMW w/ the 335 at this point, if they priced it arond 45k then they'd be seen as a bunch of self righteous pricks, having the IS350 w/ 30 less hp for just over $40k. Lose lose etiher way this one looks.
