Hey guys,

I was performing a brake flush today and noticed that my rear tires are in pretty bad shape. I've only put ~12k miles on it and went to 2 autocross/skidpad events. Seems like I should try another tire for the next season.

Here are my requirements:
- My car is a daily driver so I don't want too much noise or a really harsh ride
- I live in the NE so wet traction is somewhat important
- I'm looking for summers only since I have dedicated winter tires

After reading a few posts / tirerack, here are the list of tires I'd like to start looking into more:

Bridgestone RE-11A
Bridgestone RE-71A
Bridgestone S-04
Yokohama AD08 R
Yokohama V105

Are there any other tires I should be considering? Do you have any feedback for the ones I listed above?

Don't have experience with the yokos. I've owned the re11s and they are a safe bet and very high performance compared to the stock run flats or mpss which are very popular. Very quiet and high performing tire. I've heard good things about the re71s but also heard that they are noisy.

My experience has been with only the dunlop direzza ZII, Michelin PSS, and the Continental extreme contact DW

the Z2s are noisy over patches, but with the windows up it's not a huge difference. The michelins were more vague in feel, but were a bit better in the rain, and same with the Continental extreme contact DW.

I've driven in other cars with the bridgestones and the handling and feel were excellent, but I can't comment on anything else about them.

If I cared more about a DD and price I'd get the Contis, if I was more concerned about steering feel and track times I'd get the dunlops or the bridgestones
