weird limp mode, not like past hpfp failures

It is a known problem. Couple 1ers here have experienced the same problme and got it fixed under warranty. I think it is a 2-4 hours fix.

This really worry me since it does look like that it is a 10+ hours repair job and my car is at the end of warranty period (it has 43,000 miles).

So there are 2 time bombs on our car, one is HPFP and the other one is the turbo/waste gate problem:-):-):-)

the HPFP is warrantied up to 100k miles. I was PRAYING it was the HPFP this past weekend. everyone complains about the HPFP but it's not a worry!

Get the extended warranty.

Don't forget injectors...

$5100, replaced both turbos. managed to get BMW to pay for half of it. granted, I signed away my warranty 53,000 miles ago when I got the Dinan.
