Rotor guard making noise

I'm not sure what the exact term is, but the metal guard around the back of my rotors is rubbing against the rotors and making a horrible metallic scrapping noise.

I've bent it back a few times, but it keeps going back and making contact with the rotors.

Has anyone experienced this before?

For reference I have a 2013 135is

I had the same issues after installing coils, but I just bent it back and I never had another issue. Just bring it back to BMW and enjoy your warranty before you start modding.

I had this on my 2012 135i a couple months ago. Took it to the dealer & they took care of it. Haven't heard the sound ever since.

Yes, on my Nissan Sentra. I can't figure out how it managed to reoccur after I bent it back, it ruined the rotors.
The second time I changed the rotors I made sure I bent it back more, so far so good.
