Waiting for my new 135is!
I'm new to these boards but have already found them to be very helpful! I ordered my new 135is on June 20 and it is now 'in production'. If all goes well, PCD will be during the second week of August. I can't wait!

BP, first of all, congratulations on your new 135is!! I chose Mineral Gray as well. BTW, your tint looks great ... may I ask the shade of your tint? Perhaps 20%?
When I was ready to plunk down my deposit, my dealer told me that east coast dealer build allocations for the 135is were gone, they had to trade with a west coast dealer to get one of the handful of remaining build allocations. -- Rick |

I hope your wait isn't any where close to the 10 and a half weeks I had. Welcome to the Mineral Grey Club. I Think Captain gregthegr8 is the residing pres. |

I feel more like the treasurer. If I were the pres, I'd have exclusive blue stitching. =P
Interesting to see your tint at 35% because i really struggled deciding between a ceramic 30%, ceramic 40% or typical 35%. Went with the 30% cause I wanted the ceramic tint and for the first week or so I worried it was a bit dark for my tastes. Gotta love being in the MGC (mineral grey club), though we're trying to not add any new members cause I fear we're growing too quickly and want to stay exclusive. Now I'm wondering though if I have those two additional stickers somewhere in my books or something. |

Hmm, I'll have to go look in there as I haven't looked to see what's even in my glovebox since I got the car and need to get the OBDI cover out of there and put it back on. Thanks for the heads up.
One day by the way, you'll have to take yours up to Sedona for some amazing scenic shots, unless I beat you to the punch. Got some great ones of my old 135 in 2009 and this will be one of the rare times I'll accept a non-IS picture in this thread. O=) Last edited by gregthegr8; 07-02-2013 at 07:45 PM.. |

Here is mine
Here is mine half way done.. Ditched the 313's and went with VMR 19s / lowered on 1.5 springs / Intake / Charge pipe/ FMIC / still looking for a tune that will boost me a few more pounds... Any ideas? A guy at my dealership is running jb4 on 335is but they are n54... I looked and they have N55 will that work?

Well, it's clear they failed to train the BMW VPC/VDC on consistent installation and identification of the PPK for the 135is. We've seen: 1) no stickers of any kind, 2) sticker under the hood only, 3) sticker under the hood and in door jamb, and 4) sticker under the hood, PPK emblem and even a gray colored air cleaner cover on one. As long as it actually HAS the PPK2 installed, I guess we are all good.... Last edited by Kouper; 06-30-2013 at 10:48 PM.. |

Greg, nice photo even if it shouldn't be here Kouper, some one must have a big pile of PPK2 stickers some where. Maybe they will turn up? |

My 1 is an IS.... I just dumped the wheels.. With the extra power I needed wider wheels and tires.. I love the new ones..

Glad Greg decided to part ways with his 313's! To my benefit! The first comment I received once the wheels were installed on my '09 SMG was how clean the car looked with them! Greg you're a stand up guy! Can't thank you enough! One of the most fair people I've ever dealt with!

I keep thinking you guys are talking about ME! Granted, while those 19" VMRs look good, I love the 313s so if I wanted 19s might have gone the 19" versions you can get for the 335is, though I don't know if they would fit our car due to offsets, etc.
Rest assured, my 313s are still on mine in case anyone thought they were talking about THIS Greg. <------- Not sure there's enough room for 2 IS-wielding Gregs around here (stares at him with evil eye). Just kidding. |
