Front center mesh grille
I have a aftermarket FMIC installed and the lower front mesh grille was removed. Does anyone know what would work for this? I don't care much for the no mesh/grid look and having the FMIC out in the open.
I see Race Mesh makes lower valance grilles for this but they are expensive. And the OEM grid bumper part # is 51118045432 I believe. |

It's aftermarket - he had it cut. Lazy - do you mind if I ask where you got the material from? I've been contemplating this route for a while...

Hell, gutter guard would probably work just fine.

Bimmian sells the "Race Mesh" brand pre-cut. I don't want to pay those prices for a piece of mesh grill. The gutter gaurd material is too cheap and flexible. I've been trying to find a decent priced sheet of mesh large enough for the FMIC opening (I'll prob do the kidneys too since I have an extra pair). Or perhaps even find an old pickup truck grill and cut it to size. I haven't been able to find anything of decent quality for a good price however.
Curious if anyone else has gone this route, and what they've used.
