Black Powder Coated OEM Wheels with Dunlop Z1 and Montego Pics (New Pics added)

Here are some pics of my newly powder coated black stock wheels. I mounted them at dusk last night and tried to get some pics today when it was not raining, so first sunny day I will try to get some better pics. The pics really do not even come close to showing off just how cool these look on this car, and they really can not capture the shade of black perfectly. I was planning on this setup just being my track setup, but it looks so freakin good I will have a tough time taking them off and going back to the Performance wheels.

First pic is with stock center cap, and the others are with new style. Looks way better and highly recommended.

The color is flat black with 20% gloss. No reflections at all, but a little sheen. I love it and recommend it.

Here are some comparison pics with all three setups I have had on the car so far. Way different weather and light though....

Looks great! I wouldn't have thought it, but the aftermarket caps really make a difference.

I did the same to mine, and I am so freakin happy that I didn't go aftermarket. The look is so badass, and there are absolutely no fitment problems.

That looks sweet :w00t:

I'm assuming 225/255. It looks more aggresive than stock with those tires. I'm keeping those in mind...

I never liked dark wheel before but...

i recently had a tiny run in with a curb in a crowded gas station. PowderCoat may be the answer.

Yes, 225 and 255. Fills the arches great on the stock wheels and no rubbing worries.

They really don't. I have gotten more compliments on these wheels and tires than anything else from my friends and coworkers. They all think it makes the car appear smaller and meaner and matches the trim, grill, and tinted windows much better. The Z1's are just plain awesome, on any wheel they look bada$$!!!

I will try to get better pics if the sun ever shines again in the Seattle area.

+1 on the aftermarket center caps. Got mine yesterday and put them on immediately. :w00t:

And I love the PC'd 264's. I'm trying to figure out how I can be without my car for a week when it comes time for new tires so I can have mine done. :P

Not my car, but in the thread I believe he said it was $300 total for all 4 wheels...including pinstripe.

Because of these pics my bank account will drop just a bit more in the very near future! That looks sick..

I think may get mine a tad more glossy... even so yours are awesome..

Looks real nice having them powder coated black. You should give the same black treatment to those performance wheels.
