2009 128i Titanium on Black, w/ Sport
For Sale: 2009 BMW 128i Location: Troy, NY 12180 Price: $10,500 Photos: https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...2S?usp=sharing -75,1xx miles -6-Speed Manual Transmission -Titanium Metallic Silver Exterior -Black Leatherette Interior -Gloss Black Interior Trim -Shadowline Exterior Trim -Depo Xenon Headlights w/ clear corners (Angel Eyes as DRL) -Sport Steering Wheel -M Sport Suspension -Sport Seats: Heated, Manual, Adjustable side bolsters & leg rests. -Airbag recall completed -Various coding features performed (mostly "comfort" features) Last 4 of VIN: VF06814 If you’re an enthusiast, this is the 128i you’re looking for. 128i Details: *Ignore this section if you’re familiar with the car* This car is equipped with BMW’s simple, reliable, and silky smooth N52 powerplant. It makes 230hp @ 6500rpm and 200lbft @ 2800rpm. This car is, in many circles, regarded as the last of BMW’s pure & simple driver orientated cars, due to its direct feel, proven naturally-aspirated inline 6, and lack of unnecessary doo-dads. In a world of direct-injected turbocharged cars overflowing with gadgets, there’s something to be said for a simple port-injected NA inline 6. In terms of performance, think of this car as a newer version of the E36 M3. It returns 20mpg City and 28mpg Highway (I’ve had more like 31mpg at 70mph). A simple 3-stage DISA intake manifold swap and tune will add another 30hp for those looking for more power. Ownership History: This was originally an Ohio car, purchased new by an older female. It was serviced as required by BMW, and traded-in with ~20k miles on the clock. The second owner purchased the car as a Certified Pre-Owned, and moved to Florida with it shortly after. This owner also had the car serviced exclusively at BMW Dealerships, and maintained good record keeping (as I do). I purchased the car earlier this year from him, and had it shipped from Florida to NY. The car will come with a 1” thick stack of records organized chronologically. Body / Interior: There is absolutely no rust on the body anywhere. There is one tiny shallow ding on the hood above the driver’s headlight. It’s so minor I’d have to point it out in person. There are no other dents nor dings on this car anywhere; it’s in extremely good condition. There are some tiny chips on the front bumper as one would expect, and I’ve touched them up with BMW touch-up paint. Overall, body is a 9/10 and I’m extremely picky. The interior is also in great shape, with the only exception being an odd spot of peeling of the leatherette, located on the driver’s seat thigh bolster. I bought it like this and am not sure how it happened. Otherwise, the interior is wonderful; another 8.5/10. The car is garage stored and never driven in poor weather or Winter. Weather permitting, the car is washed and spray-waxed weekly, and has received two applications of Collinite 845 since I took ownership. Add-Ons: -Bilstein B8 Sport Plus Struts / Shocks (paired with stock M-Sport springs <1000 miles old) -ECS Brake Kit w/ Slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads all around -DR37 Wheels in Hyperblack, 17x8 ET42, square fitment (inexpensive but lighter than stock) -225/45/17 Cooper Zeon RS3-S Ultra High Performance Tires (<1000 miles) -AFE N52 Air Intake (recently powdercoated heat-shield) -BMW Performance Black Kidney Grills -Interior Light LED Conversion (cool white) -Retrofitted OEM alarm upgrade -35% tint (really helps to keep the leatherette cool in summer) -Painted replica spoiler Wrap-Up Questions: I’ve been as forthcoming and honest as one can be when selling a used car, and insist that you read this post and carefully review all provided photos / documents in their entirety before contacting me with questions. Why are you selling?: I'm likely moving in the near future, and there's a high possibility that I will lose my garage. Offers: Lowball offers will be ignored, and haggle offers should come only after you view the car. Be respectful. If you find a cleaner, better equipped, enthusiast owned car for less, buy it. Trades: I’ll consider them, but it’s unlikely we’ll make a connection. Contact: PM me for contact info. Do not call or text me after 9:30pm. Last edited by TheBigChill; 03-25-2018 at 10:49 AM.. |

Not a buyer, already have one and it is definitely not for sale. Description under "128 details" is exactly right. Last of the old time BMW's. Simple by new car standards which is exactly what I want, a driver's car. Hard to find in this configuration, looks like a very nice example.

Thanks for the comment. It's really a great ride for someone who's looking for a do-it-all car. I struggle to think of something that would be a better choice, especially for the money.

Haha. Thanks. It's still technically for sale. I've had some offers and I've had some flakes. This is the only place I've listed it, so I'm thinking once the weather warms up I'll advertise elsewhere.
For anyone wondering, the price is firm. Let's clear that up right now |

The guy two posts above you also wanted a PPI. He was super serious. I set up the PPI with a Euro specialty garage, rescheduled that part of my week, and then he bailed 3 days before PPI.
We're approaching a point where I'm no longer going to entertain remote interest due to the amount of my time being wasted. Let's start with any questions that you might have regarding the car, ownership, photos, etc. Thanks for your interest, and feel free to PM me. |
