Gtechniq Detail job
So I am scheaduled in two weeks to get the car fully detailed to include Getchniq C1 topped with EVOv2, wheels with G5, and glass with G1. I will post pictures and results when it is done. Has anyone had experience with these products?

I was actually curious for the G products as well. I was looking into the glass coatings but couldn't pull the trigger because I haven't read anything about it.

I am looking into getting some gtechniq glass coatings to apply on my cars before winter. I think it is the G1 products I am looking at. After it gets detailed and you had it for awhile, mind if I pm you asking how you like it?

supposedly there were some long-term hazing problems with several batches of the exov2 over the summer. Not sure if they ever cleared up or not, but you may want to check it out.

So I have had the car back for almost a week and I am impressed. Took the car to a wash with high pressure hose today and that is all I had to use. The bugs on the windshield and front bumper just came off no problem. I hit the wheels and there was immediately black droplets flying off, at first I was like what the heck.... Then I realized it was brake dust. It just came off.....all of it with no scrubbing or soap. This is supposed to last three to five years. Can't wait to drive in the rain!!

3-5 years sound like a ridiculous claim to me - just sayin'. I use some of the best products around and I'm happy to get a few months out I them if I don't maintain them. I'd expect that you have to maintain the product with others in the lineup, but I could be wrong. Curious how things look after a few months.

I got my G1 in the mail yesterday! I think I am going to apply it Monday at least to my GTI or 128.

When I picked up the car from the detailer he wanted to throw a bucket of muddy water on the hood. Yeah I said now. That being said nothing sticks to the car or windshield. It like its self cleaning.

We're nearly at a year since having our 135i done -- paint, glass, wheels, & trim. Excellent results and easy to take care of. The shop' scar (at the time) was a smidgen older than two years since being treated, so the longevity claims aren't claims.
