Battery Disconnect

Just curious. I generally have no problems installing an aftermarket car stereo, but I can't figure out how to disconnect my battery on my 2009 128i. I have an Alpine Head unit and bluetooth module I am going to install and I wanted to safely disconnect the battery.

Am I just stupid and missing some really easy? It seems pretty well hidden.

In the trunk, under the center carpet (where the spare would be). Just remove the ground and you're good to go.

Just make sure to leave one of your car windows open and the rear seats folded down just in case you accidentally close your (electrically operated) trunk. Many have done it, its just instinctive.
