Radio Keeps scrolling?

I just noticed today that the information on the radio keeps scrolling and does not stop. Meaning, the screen says this.....101.1>The Mix>Frank Sinatra>Did it My Way (repeated)....It keeps scrolling and scrolling.. Is this correct? I have an 08 standard 10 speaker professional sterio. The reason I am asking, to make a long story short, is that I just had the radio replaced by BMW (it wasnt really broken but for some reason the car would not take an update on the DME, it would freeze at the radio). I honestly dont remember it EVER doing that. I remember it scrolling through everything then locking back onto what station you are on. I.E. 101.1>The Mix>Frank Sinatra>Did it My Way> 101.1 (stayed there).
