Charge Pipe

Ok,

So i think its time i Upgrade my charge pipe... and yes ive searched...
I see alot of people go Evolution Racewerks.... or Stett.

The car is a 09 Build N54.

Anyone Aussie guys upgraded the chargepipe to ensure no boost leaks? and if so what did you choose. Diverter pipe setup or blow off valve?

If i wanna add meth later what am i looking for... 1 or 2 meth bungs? can these be sealed properly until time of use?

I was looking at ER but an ETS unit pops up in search results as well...
I've sent an email to mike@n54tuning so hopefully he can provide a bit of insight as I believe he sells both.

Still not sure whether I should get meth bungs or not...

I have seen the ER setup and I like it so thats what I ordered. Meth bungs will depend on if you ever intend to run meth or not. If you are still undecided then you can get just the one meth bung and plug it until the time comes that you decide to run meth.

Ok I got a reply from Mike@N54tuning, awesome service from him btw.

Looks like I'll go with the ER one, apparently it has a better clamping design compared to others...
I'll order it with one meth bung as well. Only costs $15 extra and the bungs come sealed anyway. One meth bung is sufficient for most people, unless running bigger turbos/NOS etc.

All up including BOV is a bit over ~$600USD

haven't actually placed the order, but in my mind I've placed the order haha... I'm going to try the HKS bov. If I don't like it I'll put it on the evo and use a diff BOV or go to DVs

Jeef I am pretty sure Terry only stocks the AA & CPE Charge Pipes so if you want an ER one you will need to go through Mike or another vendor.

I'm running the ER + Synapse with 2 bungs anodized. I recommend getting the May 09+ version, its $50 more.

Very happy with my setup.

Jeff you interested in the May 09 version? it includes an additional elbow or something to replace one on the car..

and did you want flat black/anodized black (no cost iirc) thats what I want for the OEM appearance.

and what BOV did you want jeff?

from what I have been told the HKS is the loudest bov of the 3 and the Tial is probably the quietest so that leaves the synapse in the middle

Haha Same as me mate... Evolution Racewerks Chargepipe.... Colour depends on you.... comes in chrome or black... i prefer back to keep it stealth... and 1 methbung... With a Tial blow off valve.. you can hear it but its a clean crisp woosh... if that makes sense

ER chargepipe with one or two bungs and Forge DV (instead of blow off vale).
