on the Florida Highway
Just found out my car is on a ship called the "Florida Highway". Anybody else have or had their car on this ship?
Does anyone know what port it stops first in U.S.? Only info I found online is that it has a destination of Baltimore and the ETA is March 5! That seems like way to long to cross the ocean. I am taking delivery in Tampa, FL by the way. If anybody has any info it would be helpful. The wait is killing me. Thanks! |

Unless you know something specific BMW does not use a Japanese shipping company here is the most recent update regarding shipping and tracking BMW. BMW ships with several cargo lines and carriers, depending on the destination.
• Wallenius&Wilhelmsen (parent company for several ship lines listed below) • EUKOR - a division of Wallenius Lines • UECC - another division of Wallenius Lines • A.P. Möller - yet another division and ship line owned or operated by Wallenius Lines • Mark 1 Shipping – owned or operated by Wallenius Lines • K-LINE (Usually BMW West Coast deliveries only, but sometimes ships to NY/NJ as NYK-Line) K-Line is not a W&W company • ARC - Often operated by, or under the direction of Wallenius Lines Your car will be unloaded at the Port of Brunswick or Charleston |

I have looked into this further and the Florida Highway is a part of the K-LINE/Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Line group (noted in your post)... which IS actually from a Japanese company. http://www.kline.co.jp/ |

My 1 was on the K-Line's Aegean Highway, it made the crossing in about 2.5 weeks.

Looks like my 135i is on Florida Highway as well. I lost tracking of her some where in the Celtic Sea. Most likely crossing the Atlantic now. K line schedule shows she is due on the east coast some time around Feb. 7th but who knows for sure.
